It is very important to look good on the internet. It is a medium where if potential customers find you and your site does not look good they will go on to the next site. Straightsell does come with a number of free templates for budget conscious customers but with most jobs we create a custom design that suits your requirements and the functionality required by your customers.
This process starts with us working out the site navigation and the functionality that is to be offered on the site. From this we then come up with a design concept and then discuss it with you.
Each design is different but the aim of our designers is to:
- Create strong branding to reinforce identity.
- Create easy to use navigation.
- Focus on a design that suits your industry.

Once this design is approved we will cut it up into html and enter it into the Straightsell template engine. Unfortunately, the design is only a part of the overall job. There are a number of other things that need to be done including:
- Formatting text.
- Optimising images for faster upload time.
- Submitting the website to search engines.
- Testing the website on all platforms.
- Often it can take time to show you how to set up some of the specific functionality of Straightsell such as the freight module, the currency converter for people selling overseas, or your payment gateway.
- You may want help to categorise your product data, or to create better product descriptions, or to get together product images although these things are usually done by the client.
